Beth has worked as a Nutritionist in the food industry for over 5 years in a variety of roles in the field of early years nutrition, from providing nutrition and labelling input to new product development of infant and toddler foods, to developing evidenced-based education and communication materials for parents and healthcare professionals on a broad range of nutrition topics, such as complementary feeding, managing fussy eating and toddler diets. During this time, Beth developed and delivered nutrition training programmes to teams working alongside healthcare professionals, and to employees to support work-based health interventions. Whilst working in industry, Beth developed a particular interest in milk allergy in children, and spent time working alongside health professionals at hospitals with leading paediatric allergy service provision in the UK, and universities working to pioneer new research in the area. Beth developed communications for health professionals on managing milk allergy diets, and delivered training to teams working with health professionals on implementing milk allergy guidelines and research.
