Nutrition in a child’s early years impacts their growth, development and long-term outcomes. The EYN Partnership want to give you confidence that you’re providing your child with the nutrition they need – whether at home or when they’re in a childcare setting.
With over 10 years’ experience as a Nutritional Consultant Roz has worked in the food industry and in education across both the private and public sectors, delivering expert, evidence-based advice and practical tools to help implement healthy dietary choices for different population groups.
Roz was the Nutritionist for North Yorkshire County Council for over 3 years, supporting them to improve the nutritional content of their school meals - helping them to become one of the first authorities to become fully compliant with the government nutrition standards. Roz subsequently worked with a number of education sector caterers including Compass Group, where she was responsible for recipe reformulation, analysis and the compilation of special diets to support children with allergies and intolerances.
Whilst working in the food industry Roz has worked on a number of industry initiatives to drive behaviour change in food related decisions and has a particular interest and significant expertise in understanding the influencers in driving consumer engagement toward healthier food choices in both adults and children.
