Nutrition in a child’s early years impacts their growth, development and long-term outcomes. The EYN Partnership want to give you confidence that you’re providing your child with the nutrition they need – whether at home or when they’re in a childcare setting.
Wendy trained as a nurse before returning to study for a BSc (Hons) in nutrition. She spent 11 years in the NHS designing and analysing menus and providing training to care and catering staff in a variety of settings. She also developed and delivered a number of healthy lifestyle courses for different groups including pregnant women and young people. Wendy went on to deliver family weight management programmes for local councils. These fun and active programmes included discussion of behaviour change and the difficulty of breaking habits. She is passionate about the opportunity to establish good habits in the early years.
