Nutrition in a child’s early years impacts their growth, development and long-term outcomes. The EYN Partnership want to give you confidence that you’re providing your child with the nutrition they need – whether at home or when they’re in a childcare setting.
Ela has worked as Food in Schools Co-ordinator for the London Borough of Newham within their Healthy Schools Team, delivering a borough-wide healthy eating programme for schools. This included working with early years settings, running tasting and nutrition sessions with children, as well as delivering training on nutrition for staff, midday supervisors and parents. Ela also delivered the MEND programme, a weight management programme for primary school-aged children.
Currently Ela runs workshops for parents in her local area on baby-led weaning, fussy eating and healthy eating for the family. Ela also delivers nutrition sessions on the 'Alive 'n' Kicking' programme, a local weight management programme for 4-11 year olds.
